Get ready for the nine-day dine-out bash that is Arizona Restaurant Week. The twice-annual event (once in fall and once in spring) put on by the Arizona Restaurant Association intends to give Valley residents the opportunity to try out new restaurants at a discounted price.

Expect fan favorite like Binkley's to be on the list of participating spots as well as newcomers to the Restaurant Week scene like Salty Sow and Taggia at the FireSky Resort and Spa.

The fall event will take place from Saturday, September 21, to Sunday, September 29. During the nine-day period, the Arizona Restaurant Association predicts, more than 150 restaurants throughout the Valley and Tucson areas will join the celebration of "the state's vibrant restaurant industry."

Each restaurant will offer a prix-fixe dinner menu for either $30 and $40 per person, excluding beverages in most cases -- though some restaurants do include a wine pairing.

You can view the list of confirmed participating restaurants and their menus on the Arizona Restaurant Week website, which will be updated daily beginning August 5. Currently the list includes The Melting Pot (multiple locations), Taggia, Cartwright's Sonoran Ranch House, Tonto Bar and Grill and Phoenix City Grille.
