Ten days. Hundreds of restaurants. Must be Arizona Restaurant Week. As always, the ninth annual event will bring dozens of Valley restaurants together to offer three-course prix-fixe menus for just $33 or $44 per person, giving diners a chance to check out new restaurants at a discounted price. Organized by the Arizona Restaurant Association, the 10-day affair will run from Friday, September 16, to Sunday, September 25.

Though there's still time for restaurants to sign up, some of the participating spots include midtown Phoenix's the Clever Koi, which will be offering three courses plus either a beer or glass of wine for $44 per person. The menu, which is available online, includes courses such as pig face dumplings with kimchi and pickled peppers, char siu porchetta with sun choke salad and charred fennel, and coconut sticky black rice with mango and sunflower granola.

Chef Nobuo Fukuda's Nobuo at Teeter House will also participate, offering a Japanese-style seasonal vegetable antipasto, seafood or meat bento box, and dessert for $44.

Lower price-point options will include Nook Kitchen's three-course menu for $33; it includes appetizers such as arancini, grilled artichoke, and caprese with entrees like grilled salmon, short ribs, and a margherita pizza. Little Cleo's Seafood Legend also will offer a $33-per-person menu that includes three courses and a shared seafood platter to start.
