Frank Vairo's take on the grown-up-style Orange Julius has quickly become a house favorite. With Upstairs at Estate House's patio, there's no doubt the drink will maintain its high ranking in the sweltering summer months soon approaching.

The drink has a refreshing combination of orange and vanilla, and just enough sweetness to reminisce about orange slushy summer days gone by.

The vanilla flavored Licor 43 in the drink is made with 43 herbs and spices, and nicely complements the orange in the Hanger One Mandarin Blossom vodka.

The recipe:

1 oz Hanger One Mandarin Blossom Vodka 1 oz Cuarenta y Tres Licor 43 ¼ oz fresh squeezed lemon juice ¼ oz fresh squeezed lime juice splash of cranberry juice orange wedge

How to make it:

Combine all of the ingredients in a cocktail shaker, mix and serve on the rocks. Garnish with an orange wedge.
