If you're still looking for a unique way to celebrate Easter brunch this year, you might be interested in what they've got planned over at Caffe Boa in Tempe.

Owners Jay and Christine Wisniewski are bringing some Croatian traditions to their restaurant by offering rotisserie-style all natural, whole spring lambs starting at noon on Sunday, April 20. Combine freshly roasted lamb with this restaurant's spacious outdoor patio and you're sure to impress your out-of-town guests.

The lambs will begin being roasted at 6 a.m. on Sunday using an authentic Iron Bell brought from Christine's native Croatia. This ancient roasting method is popular in Eastern Europe and involves meat, potatoes, herbs and carrots which are roasted under an iron "bell" for hours over amber cinders.

The first servings of lamb will be available at about noon. Diners will be able to get 1 lb. of lamb with roasted rosemary Yukon potatoes, salad, and warm house made flatbread for $49 per person. You'll also have a choice of veal or farm chicken.

Caffe Boa will also be serving the regular brunch menu beginning at 10 a.m. with bottomless mimosas and belinis and half-priced pitchers of sangria.

Reservations are highly recommended. Minimun party size of two people, maximum of eight. Call 480-968-9112 or use OpenTable.
