Watch hot-air balloons light up the night this Saturday at the Rancho Mañana Golf Course in Cave Creek, while you enjoy some local food and drink. Four Peaks will supply the beer, and the following vendors and food trucks will be dishing out the cuisine: The Buffalo Chip, Grilled Addiction, Wandering Donkey, Fry Bread Inc., Doughlicious Pizza, The Grilled Cheese Truck, Firehouse Kettlecorn, Firehouse Shaved Ice, Affogato Coffee & Gelato, and Frosted Frenzy Cup Cakes. The event runs from 5:30 to 10 p.m., and the balloons will be inflated around 7:30 p.m. Most glow and retain their glow for about an hour and 30 minutes. National Brisket Day at Bobby Q's

We're all about any excuse to eat barbecue meats, and National Brisket Day definitely fits the bill. Bobby Q's in Phoenix is celebrating the holiday by releasing its special brisket recipe. And if you'd like to taste test the recipe before you try to make it yourself, Bobby-Q's pitmaster and chef, Mark Hittle, will be slicing up some slow-and-low smoked brisket at Bobby Q's from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. on Saturday. National Hamburger Day at Texaz Grill

In a win-win for meat eaters everywhere, this Saturday also is National Hamburger Day, and Texaz Grill is celebrating with a deal on, you guessed it, hamburgers. Snag one for $5.28 during lunch hours from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. — a few dollars less than its normal price of $7.75. All of Texaz Grill's hamburgers feature a six-ounce, hand-formed, all-beef patty on a sesame-seed egg bun served with tomato, lettuce, onion, and a pickle on the side. Luxe Luau Beer Dinner at T. Cook's

The normally formal T. Cook's is letting loose at its Luxe Luau Beer Dinner this Saturday. Guests are encouraged to don luau wear to event, so bring on the grass skirts and Hawaiian shirts. Fittingly enough, Maui Brewing Company is supplying the beer for the three-course dinner, which will be held poolside at The Royal Palms. All American Grill & Beer Event at The Orchard Lawn

In case you didn't know, Monday is Memorial Day, and The Orchard is getting the festivities started one day early with an outdoor "All American Grill & Beer" cookout. Head to The Orchard on Sunday to dig into grilled burgers, sausages, and ribs served with sides. Bottled beer will cost just $4. Guests also can listen to live tunes.
