After leaving PastaBar, the now-defunct downtown eatery that he founded two years ago, onetime Mario Batali protege and former Sassi chef Wade Moises headed to Adobe Restaurant at the Arizona Biltmore Golf Club with the goal of revamping the off-the-radar eatery's breakfast and lunch menus. He hoped to eventually launch dinner service there as well.

But that's all called off, and the restaurant is expected to return to its old menus. Moises confirms he parted ways with Adobe a week and a half ago, for reasons he won't dish about publicly. However, he says that the split was "for the best in a lot of ways," and that he's considering his options in the Valley and elsewhere. In the meantime, he plans to do some traveling.
