We can get behind the collision of doughnuts and beer, particularly when it's Rogue beer and Voodoo doughnuts. Last year in honor of the Portland Oregon-based Voodoo Donuts breaking the world record for largest box of donuts, they rolled out the notorious pink bottle Voodoo Doughnut ale Maple Bacon Porter.
But hey, if it worked out so well the first time why not go at it again -- and this time they've hijacked one of your favorite stoner childhood sandwiches.
Enter: Chocolate, Banana & Peanut Butter Ale.

Unveiled in late October, the brown ale gets its doughnut inspiration from Voodoo doughnut's Memphis Mafia doughnut. The deep-fried nut includes banana chunks and cinnamon sugar all covered in a glaze with chocolate frosting, peanut butter, peanuts and chocolate chips on top.
All flavors that naturally lend themselves to beer, right?
The ale contains a dozen ingredients including chocolate, banana and peanut butter and pairs well with doughnuts (duh) and dessert.
By most accounts the Maple Bacon Porter's smoky aroma wasn't a home run and that was with just two headlining flavors -- although Chow Bella's beer guy swears it's a dream when paired with pigs in blankets. We can't wait to experience this fusion of flavors comes together in one 9.4 fluid ounce bottle.
For now the chocolatey brew is only available at seven Rogue locations in Oregon. You can order the Maple Bacon Ale online.
