When it opened in Tempe last summer, Taco Migo was a 24-hour fast food joint that served alcohol. A few months later, it reinvented itself and became a casual, sit-down restaurant with a new name: Migo's.
And now it appears that Taco Migo, or Migo's depending on the time frame, has closed both sets of its concept doors for good.
Said to be the first venture from a local owner whose family runs several Carl's Jr.'s in California, Taco Migo/Migo's, located on Baseline Road in what used to be an abandoned lot across from Arizona Mills mall and right off I-10, seemed to have a good location in its favor.
Unfortunately, it was unable to make either of its concepts work with it.
