The self-proclaimed designated dancer with Treasure MammaL, who also "looks a lot like Andy Denver (aka, Single Dad)," the drummer in Fathers Day, has a West coast tour kick-off show at The Trunk Space Tuesday, October 26. Treasure MammaL is throwing a CD release party at The Lost Leaf Saturday, November 6.

What'd you eat for dinner last night? Breakfast. I'm a night person and I sleep all day, so dinner time for me is around 3 a.m. and it's always breakfast food, prepared by me at home (unless we're on tour). Last night, I had three eggs scrambled with chopped scallions, chipotle seasoned home-fries, and sprouted-grain toast.

Favorite food:Chicken tikka masala, saag paneer, basmati rice, and garlic naan.

Least favorite food:Top Ramen.

Favorite dessert: I never eat desserts--I mean it's sooo rare. I eat donuts sometimes--like when we're on tour. California has good donuts.

Favorite local restaurant and meal to order there: I have been fond of eating barbecue chicken sandwiches at Honey Bear's on Central recently. However, in my lifetime, I have eaten way more chicken kebab plates at Haji Baba in Tempe.

Favorite local bar and cocktail to order there: I don't drink alcohol, but my favorite coffee is at Lux. I usually have their dark roast drip-coffee which has nice chocolate-y notes.

Favorite thing to cook at home: Breakfast for dinner: French Toast with blueberries, cinnamon and honey.

Favorite memory involving food:One of them is discovering outstanding, unsurpassed glazed donuts in San Francisco's Chinatown and walking around the rest of that day, tripping on LSD, with a bag of these world-class donuts for sustenance. America's (perhaps the world's) finest French Crullers come from this Chinese bakery in Chinatown. In this bakery, there are pictures taken of Bill Clinton eating their magical donuts during his presidency. How Clinton found out about it, I'll never know.

Recipe or food tip to share: Eat slowly, chew thoroughly. Many digestive problems are avoided this way. It's true!
