Thanksgiving with a View
If you still haven't bought that Thanksgiving Day turkey and you didn't see a single tempting restaurant in our 2011 Thanksgiving Dining Guide, maybe you should check out Beau MacMillan's Thanksgiving Menu at Elements on Camelback Mountain.

The lux restaurant will be offering a unique Thanksgiving dinner with reservations available from noon to 9 p.m. Start off with a roasted mushroom tart, prime beef carpaccio, or pumpkin risotto with fried sage then cool things off with a salad of local autumn greens or a poached pear salad with herbed pecans. Traditional turkey is on the menu as well as more exotic dishes such as a citrus cured duck, pan seared escolar, and butternut squash ravioli with a brown butter sauce and goat cheese for all you non-meat eaters. Finish off the meal with a slice of pumpkin or chocolate pecan pie or a piece of caramel apple bread pudding with cinnamon gelato. Adults eat for $65 ++ each, $18++ for each kid 12 and under. Reservations are recommended. Click here to see the full menu.

Turkey Day Sides Challenge

The folks over at The Huffington Post decided to put everyone's favorite and a few obscure (carrot salad?) holiday side dishes against each other in a challenge -- a bracket challenge to be specific --  to see which holiday side do people love the most. They started with 16 and have whittled it down to the final four. Who will reign supreme? Mashed potatoes, stuffing, fresh cranberry sauce or dinner rolls? We're rooting for stuffing. Jump over to Huffingtonpost.com to see who made today's cut or click here to snag the recipe for the delicious stuffing pictured above.
