The owner and brewmaster of Fate Brewing Company has announced the grand opening date for North Scottsdale's newest brewpub and pizzeria will happen Sunday, November 25.

Here are the deets and a little of what drinkers/diners can expect.

McFate (who was previously with a brewery in Colorado) is a serious hophead, which means his brewpub will focus on small-batch brews, rotating favorites, experimental recipes, seasonal suds, and casks on tap. And as an added bonus, he brews his own root beer, too. Want the beer (or the root beer) to go? Get a 64-ounce growler for the way home.

Along with the grand opening date, McFate has also announced the opening lineup of beers which include American Strong Pale Ale, Cream Ale, Smoked Porter, Irish Red, and Double IPA (the following week). He also plans on a few rotating craft guest taps.

On the food side, Fate's wood-fired oven will kick out around 10 artisan-style pizzas. Salads and roasted veggies will also make an appearance on the menu.

Fate will be open from 11 a.m. until 10 p.m. Sunday through Thursday and from 11 a.m. until 11 p.m. Friday and Saturday.
