The Details: You could sum up the happy hour at this reputable local brewery in three words: cheap specialty beer. Their daily discount knocks $1 off ice-cold pints and $2 off pitchers of their award-winning craft brew selection (8 in total), like Hop Knot IPA and Kilt Lifter Pale Ale, just to name a few of the faves.
Yes, FP's happy hour offerings also include $3 margaritas and jager shots (obviously, considering we're walking distance from ASU main) but the bad news is there are no discounts on food.

The Interior: Conveniently located blocks away from ASU campus, with more than a few Sun Devil banners and big- screen tvs broadcasting ESPN and stuff, Four Peaks definitely has college-kid jock appeal. However, their enormous warehouse-style digs-- including on-site beer vat entertainment and spacious patio seating-- offer a wide range of dining style options, suitable for just about anyone who enjoys a good local brew.
The staff is cool, calm and very attentive to empty glasses-- exactly what we hope for in a staff at local brew house.
The Cost: Four beers at $3.25 each and one filling artichoke dip appetizer at $9 came out to $22 dollars, before tax and tip.
The Conclusion: Though we were a bit disappointed to find happy hour at four peaks limits discounts to booze only, we were happy to note the reasonable prices on all of their easily sharable menu options.
Opting for their warm and cheesy artichoke dip ($9), served with fresh baked house-made pita
bread and crunchy tri-colored tortilla chips, we found the rich flavor and generous portion satisfying enough to leave any lingering hunger to their exceptional specialty beer priced at an outstanding $3.25 price.
Whether it's sports-cheering jersey wearing frat kids, gossiping appetizer- sharing females or small Tempe neighborhood families, it's clear Four Peaks Brewing Co. knows how to make quality beer loving locals happy-- and you better believe a belly full of cheap one-of-a-kind beer and yummy nosh is how.
