The Hours: The Pour runs from 4 - 6 p.m., and reverse runs from 10 p.m. - midnight, daily.

The Details: Located within the swanky  Sanctuary Camelback Mountain Resort and Spa is the classy Jade Bar and their patio cocktail lounge, The Edge. To accompany Jade Bar's every day gorgeous mountain view is a spectacular every day happy hour called The Pour.

The Pour offers 5 premium signature cocktails at only $6 each, including the Blueberry Tarragon & tonic with Tangueray gin and freshly muddled blueberries and 4 wines by the glass for only $6. If fancy shmansy cocktails aren't your thing, The Pour also offers the basics in premium liquor-- Grey Goose, Bacardi, Tangueray, Don Julio, and Rittenhouse-- for $6.

Choose from 6 small plates by
renowned Executive Chef Beau MacMillan offered at another smokin $6 price. We opted for the heart-winning and eye-watering shishito peppers, along with barbecue pork buns and the hummus of the day.

(Jade Bar & The Edge get schooled, after the jump.)

The Interior: The dimly lit hangout offers two pristine high-class spots to enjoy cocktails, small plates, friends or friendly strangers. The bar is sexy and cozy while the patio reminds us of Phoenix's beauty during a time when we need it the most.  The staff made an impact so wonderful, we found ourselves talking about them well after we left this hospitable haven. While Jade Bar gets a hefty dose of celeb clientele, the staff makes everyone feel like confirmed former guests, Beyonce and Jay Z.

The Cost: Two premium cocktails and three delectable small plates came out to $30 before tax and tip.

The Conclusion: We're kicking ourselves for not getting to The Pour at Jade Bar sooner. These mountain top digs are now our local happy place, offering a mental escape supplied with outstanding cuisine  at a ridiculously low price. The habit-forming shishito peppers alone were enough to bring moisture to our eyes (okay, maybe that was the peppers) and the mini sliders had superb flavor and presentation to match. Don't forget the complimentary wasabi peanuts to snack on before the small plates hit your table.

Jade Bar and The Edge truly remind us of Phoenix's charm. From their delicious food to their wonderfully accommodating and classy general manager and staff, the place really is a local Sanctuary.

The Pour is a happy hour for the books.
