Sure, breakfast starts the day off right. But what about a little of that a.m. mojo in the evening hours?
Liberty Market, the hip little bistro in Gilbert courtesy of restaurateur Joe Johnston, aims to do just that with a "Breakfast for Dinner" five-course meal served at 6:30 p.m., Monday, March 26.
Part of the restaurant's Community Dinner series intended to foster a sense of fellowship at the table, Johnston tells me he and the team (led by chef David Traina) are still perfecting the event's five-course menu (plus a few surprises) of "breakfast favorites elevated with the ingredients and techniques from our kitchen," but gave me a peek into what guests might be able to expect.
"For instance," Johnston tells me, "it's not just buttermilk pancakes, it's lobster pancakes."
The restaurateur also adds that he'll be mixing a line of breakfast cocktails to match each of the meal's first four courses.
The cost of the Breakfast for Dinner event is $45 per person ($60 including breakfast cocktails) and limited to 64 guests. To sign-up for the event, visit the E61 Espresso Bar inside Liberty Market.
