A round-up of tasty morsels from Valley food blogs.

We can count on Linda Hopkins of Les Petite Gourmettes for the regular recipe posts on her blog, but we were mighty impressed with her bloody mary bar (that also includes a base cocktail recipe) that rivaled the article she found in the current issue of Bon Appetit magazine. Check out her post to really see how it's really done.

Eric Schafer of Eric Eats Out might have lost his mind -- or had a flash of genius. He's suggesting that whale milk will be big in 2012

He says, "according to various marine biology websites, whale milk is excreted through slits along their bodies and has the highest percentage of fat among all mammals. Its consistency is akin to toothpaste." He presumes it's delicious and we'd love to see a follow up post with photos of him sourcing this hip milk and giving it a big swig and full review.

Eric Eats Out, you're nuts but wonderfully witty. Thanks for giving us the giggles.
