Mac 'n' cheese? Yes, please.
In its second year, the Mac 'N' Cheese Throwdown invites lovers of the casserole of cooked macaroni and cheese sauce (whose history traces back to medieval Italy) to celebrate in ooey-gooey style from 5:30 to 8 p.m., Thursday, October 20, at 5th and Wine in Scottsdale.
For twenty bucks, Throwdown fans can taste and vote on the offerings of six Valley chefs as they offer up their versions of "the best" mac 'n' cheese in a search for glory and bragging rights. Admission includes all-you-can-eat mac 'n cheese, snacks, and dessert. The restaurant will feature drink specials as well.
Find out what six Valley chefs will be throwin' down at the Throwdown and how to buy tickets after the jump.
