This Monday, March 14, is National Pi Day. No, not pie — though we love pie. We're talking about pi, as in the number. If it's been a while since you've taken a math class, pi or 3.14 is an infinite number that's equal to the ratio of the circumference of a circle. But we prefer to think of it in simpler terms: Pi Day is the day when many restaurants and bakeries in town offer discounts on pies or other baked goods.

On Monday, the glass case at downtown Chandler's Peixoto Coffee will be filled with Bubby Goober's Baked Goods. You can nab flavors including black and blueberry, cherry amaretto, rosemary apple, and pear bourbon with a chai-spiced crumble.
