In late February, the oldest continuously occupied structure in the Phoenix area will be sporting a brand new, 2,000-square-foot patio. Located just outside the front doors of Monti's and facing Rio Salado Parkway, the new outdoor space (currently under construction) will sport three fire pits, its own food and drink menu (including 12 specialty beers on tap), and seating for 130 people.

What it doesn't have (yet) is a name. That's where you come in.

Name Monti's new patio digs and score a complimentary new patio party in March of next year for you and 20 of your friends complete with selected drinks and grub.

"The Valley and Tempe have always been really good to us," says Michael Monti, owner of Monti's. "So we thought it was only fitting to let the people who have been coming to Monti's for generations pick the name of our new patio."

Got an idea or two? From now until Friday, February 1, send your new patio name suggestions along with your name, phone number, and email address to [email protected].

Monti's reserves the rights to all names submitted. Monti's will announce the winner at a grand opening party for the new outdoor patio in late February. The winner will be notified by mail and email. For more information about Monti's patio conteset visit www.Montis.com or call 480-967-7594.
