This week kicks off with a "sweet" food holiday, National Hot Fudge Sundae Day. To commemorate, Texaz Grill in Phoenix is celebrating with a special deal. All day, guests can dig into "world's smallest sundae," a miniature shooter-sized version of Texaz's famed hot fudge sundae, for $1. AZ Fine Swine Mangalitsa Dinner at Roka Akor Scottsdale

Roka Akor Scottsdale is hosting an AZ Fine Swine Mangalitsa pig dinner on Thursday starting at 7 p.m. For one night only, Executive Chef Jason Alford will partner with local purveyor AZ Fine Swine to create dishes using a whole pig from snout to tail. Prized for its tender texture and buttery flavor, the Mangalitsa hog is a royal heritage breed raised by a fifth-generation Arizona farm family.

The seven-course menu will be held in Roka's private dining room and paired with a variety of local beers from Arizona Wilderness Brewing Co. In keeping with Roka's Asian-influenced cuisine, the second course will feature Japanese whiskey liver pate with rillettes, smoked tomato jam, nori cracker, grilled Noble Bread, radish, and mustard paired with Arizona Wilderness Brewing Co.’s Smoked Apple Gose. Happy Hour at the AC Hotel

If you're looking for a new watering hole, the AC Lounge — located in one of Tempe's newest properties, the AC Hotel — is offering happy-hour specials Monday through Friday from 4 to 6 p.m. During this time, diners receive $2 off all wine and tap and craft beers. Guests can drink local options like San Tan Devil’s Ale or Page Spring Cellars' Mule’s Mistake red wine. The lounge is on the first floor just past the lobby.
