Restaurants touting fresh salads and sandwiches are nothing new, but if you're on the go and want to eat healthy, it's nice to know when there's a new one in the neighborhood. And (bonus) this one stays up late.

Located at 7158 East Fifth Avenue in Old Town, the Original ChopShop Co. opened Sunday for breakfast, lunch, dinner, and late-night eats until midnight on the weekends. Featuring healthy eats, including pressed juices and protein shakes, the fast-casual eatery says it offers "craft cuisine for busy professionals who want to eat nutritiously, quickly, and affordably."
Here's what diners can expect:
For breakfast, there's a PB+J greek yogurt parfait and the Zen Bowl made with egg whites, arugula, mushrooms, onions, white cheddar, and brown rice.
For lunch and dinner, diners can choose from seven different salads, each under $10. Selections include a kale Caesar, a roasted beet with sour apple and goat cheese, and the Danish made with shaved pears and apples and Danish blue cheese. Salads can be made into wraps or, for those who want a hoagie with a bit more heft, there are sandwiches such as Moroccan Turkey, chicken and prosciutto, and veggie and hummus made on whole-wheat bread.
Also available are grilled protein plates of beef, chicken, shrimp, and tofu served with roasted vegetables and rice.
For nutrition in liquid form, the ChopShop offers five pressed juice creations in addition to letting guests customize their own. Protein shakes like the Muscle Man, made with banana, peanut butter, and with an optional shot of espresso, are also on the menu.
