Once a year, dozens of the region's best food trucks come together for a two-day event that features food, drink, cooking demonstrations, eating contests . . . oh, and did we mention lots and lots of food?

Well, this annual event is called the New Times Street Eats Food Truck Festival, and it's coming up in just over a month.

The fifth annual event will be held, as always, at Salt River Fields in Scottsdale and will go down on Saturday, January 30 and Sunday, January 31 from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. General admission tickets for either day cost $12 in advance, and VIP tickets cost $50. VIP tickets include admission to the event, plus six beverages, private restrooms, and four $2 food tokens, as well as access to a VIP Lounge.
