Back in April we told you that Outstanding in the Field, the company that hosts unique outdoor dining events in cities from coast to coast, would be returning to Gilbert's The Farm at Agritopia for a one-night event. That dinner, which will feature cuisine from chef Gio Osso of Virtu Honest Craft has been sold out for months.

But there's still some last minute hope for those who want to experience farm-to-table dining in whole new way. The company has recently added a second dinner in Gilbert this fall; tickets are on sale now and you can bet they're probably going to go fast.

The second Outstanding in the Field event will be held on Wednesday, October 22 and will feature chef Charleen Badman of FnB. The dinner will take place at The Farm at Agritopia's peach orchard at 2 p.m.

Outstanding in the Field's al fresco dining events are meant to inspire conversation about "food, community, and space." Founder Jim Denevan began the national food tours more than a decade ago with a diner held in Santa Cruz, Cali. This year's 2014 tour hits about 50 different cities and most event are sold out long in advance.

The Farm at Agritopia is one of just a handful of locations to host two back-to-back events.

Tickets to the multi-course dinner cost $205 a person and can be purchased on the Outstanding in the Field website.
