Set those alarm clocks, breakfast biters. Snooze Eatery, the Colorado-based breakfast and brunch joint that's had the Valley buzzing since the announcement of its first Arizona location in the Town & Country Shopping Center in May, has set a grand opening date.

At 6:30 a.m. on Monday, November 25, Snooze will be open for business. And if you'd like a sneak peek at what's in store, read on.

Featuring a from-scratch chefly take on traditional breakfast and brunch favorites (and using as many local products as possible), Snooze's menu will feature dishes such as a choose-your-own pancake flight, breakfast pot pie in rosemary sausage gravy, eggs Benedict with barbacoa and cream cheese Hollandaise sauce, and French toast stuffed with mascarpone.

On the beverage side, think lattes, local craft beers, and a concoction called the MMM MMM Mimosa (Snooze Sparkling, Odwalla OJ, and Pama Pomegranate Liquor).

Snooze's space, described as "The Jetsons meets Happy Days," will consist of circular booths, rollaway garage doors, and a tree-shaded patio.

In addition to Phoenix, Snooze has five locations in Colorado and two in San Diego. The Denver-based company was founded in 2006 by brothers Jon and Adam Schlegel and CEO Dave Birzon.

"David really brought to light what an incredible, artsy, independent and culinary-driven city Phoenix is," Adam Schlegel says. "Innovative mixologists, artisan bakeries, farm-to-table restaurants, light rail transportation, and young, tight-knit communities committed to building their neighborhood -- it felt fun, familiar, and like home."
