OK, folks, it's time to get baking. Have you picked a recipe (or two) yet? Pie Social's in a little less than two weeks, and the community pie tables beckon....

Want to take part? It's as easy as, well, pie.

Get the rules and the rest of the details after the jump.

Pie Social begins at 2 p.m. Saturday, November 12, at 408 E. Roosevelt in downtown Phoenix. We'll have 13 "celebrity" bakers serving up pie and you can vote for your favorite.

Best of all -- if you bake your own pie(s), it won't cost you a dime. Bring two pies and receive five tasting tickets in exchange.

Don't feel like baking? No problem. Just bring $10 and we'll give you five tasting tickets.

If you do bake, a few things to remember: Please write your name and phone number on a piece of masking tape and stick that to the bottom of your pie plate, so we can return it to you. Tickets can be shared with friends and family.

And, very important per the county health department: No dairy or meat pies.

We'll give you some milk or water to wash it down with (while supplies last) but be sure to bring along some cash for the A.R.T.S. Market and do some pre-holiday shopping.
