It's a Sad Day in the World of Beer
I have some sad news beer lovers, in fact you might want to have a tissue handy. Deschutes Brewery has announced that the release of their Black Butte XXII will be canceled this year. According to the Deschutes website, they used a different type of chocolate in this years batch that didn't quite dissolve all the way and created a layer on top of the beer, therefore making the beer not visually up to Deschutes standards. Hopefully we'll see XXIII next year, we'll be impatiently waiting.
