Whether it's technically a pop-up or not, this weekend's menu at Cycle sounds damn tasty.
Strada Bella food truck -- run by Pat Simeri -- is just now up and running and ready to serve. Simeri is still only booking special events (you can't find him parked any place regularly yet) but plans to take his Italian street food concept far and wide. He explains that he has a background in manufacturing, and was retrofitting food trucks before deciding to put his Italian grandmother's recipes to the test.
The menu will include:
pasta campanelle in a spicy rustic sauce; ziti in red sauce with Nana's meatballs; brussel sprouts with nutmeg sauteed in brown butter; and mozarella caprese -- as a salad or sandwich.
Simeri says he's still working on his website and Facbook page. For now, you can contact him at (623) 217-4737 or email [email protected].
Or catch him at Cycle Friday and Saturday evenings -- for details, go here.
