College football rivalries don't get much more heated than the one between Arizona State University and their cross-state frenemy, University of Arizona. Every year the two teams clash in a game that usually ends with one team (cough, cough ASU) embarrassing itself with some sort of stupid blunder -- looking at you Kyle Williams, and that fall 2009 fumbled punt.

But regardless of your team affiliation, game day's an excuse to drink, a lot, and hey, while you're at it why not take a cruise. SanTan Brewery's here to enable your drinking and biking desires with their annual Rivalry Ride set for Friday, November 23 in Tempe.

The Brews Cruise begins at Bar Louie at Tempe Marketplace, where riders will gather at 3:30 p.m. From there the gang will head to Handlebar and Grill on Mill Avenue for a bite and of course, a couple cold beers. The ride will conclude back at Tempe Marketplace's Cadillac Ranch where the whole gang will watch the game and generally drink the afternoon away.

Registration for the event costs $20 a person and includes a pint of SanTan beer at each of the stops as well as food at Handlebar and Grill. Sport your team's gear because wearing anything else would make you a bad fan. To purchase tickets visit the SanTan Brewery website or go directly to the Eventbrite website.

SanTan Brewing Company encourages all cruisers to follow bike safety laws and drink responsibly.
