Do you like farmers markets? What about food trucks? If you answered yes to both of those questions then you need to click here and get your ticket to the Superstition Farms' Super Farm Market Pop Up Pig Out.

Exactly what is the Pop Up Pig Out? It's kinda like a mini food truck festival (we're hoping without the hassles of past events). Four trucks -- Epic Hot Dogs, The SuperFarm Truck, newcomer Q-Up BBQ, and Luncha Libre -- will be parking their rigs at the Farm tonight from 4:30 to 7:30 p.m.. Tickets are $20 but you'll get

UNLIMITED food for three hours (and don't even think about bringing Tupperware containers with you). Tickets for this event are (thankfully) limited but last time I checked, there were still some available.

And since you'll already be at the Farm, you might as well pick up a pint of your favorite ice cream from Udder Delights, a couple grass-fed beef steaks, maybe a free range chicken or two, and all of your veggies for the week from Queen Creek Farms. Superstition Farms is a bit of a drive for some but it's totally worth it (plus you get to hang out on an actual farm!).

Pickled beets, pickled cauliflower, pickled tomatoes -- once you get the basics down, you should be able to pickle just about anything. And since it's a growing trend in the food world, it might be a kitchen technique that you'll want to know.

For $30 you can learn the pickling basics next Sunday with executive chef Pete Balodimas on the patio of Old Town Whiskey at the Saguaro Hotel in Scottsdale. He'll teach you how to make their pickled veggies and supply you with all the necessary tools to get the job done. At the end of class you'll get to take home your very own jars of pickled stuff to wow your friends and family.

At the time this blog was published, there were still 20 open spots but I have a feeling they are going to disappear quickly. Click here to save your spot.
