The SWRBC 2010 has sadly been canceled. Jason Silberschlag and his company, the much adored Cartel Coffee, were the reps for The Southwest Regional Barista Competition which was suppose to take place in mid March. Visit Arizona Coffee for more details.

In case you haven't heard yet, the documentary "Food Inc." is up for this year's best feature documentary Oscar. NPR has an interview with director Robert Kenner on their website. Click here to listen and If you haven't seen the movie, watch it. It even turned a certain blogger's stubborn mother into an organic shopper.
