the 11-year-old breakfast and lunch spot in Arcadia, has undergone a makeover of sorts.
Recently opened in the Camelback Village Center (at the corner of 44th Street and Camelback), the restaurant, under new ownership, is now called Daily Bistro. An updated interior and a new beverage program help to separate Daily Bistro from Taylor's Café, but what's not entirely changing is a significant portion of the former restaurant's menu. That's been enhanced -- with a little help from chef Lee Hillson.

Hillson, who appeared on Food Network's Iron Chef America in 2008, is now the executive sous chef at The Phoenician Resort after 12 years with T. Cook's at the Royal Palms Resort. And although he lent a critical eye to the offerings, Hillson's quick to point out who's ultimately responsible for the food at Daily Bistro.
"The kitchen staff at Daily Bistro does an outstanding job of producing a very high quality food offering," says Hillson. "I'm confident the public will continue to embrace their wonderful dishes."
Along with an a.m. selection of eggs Benedict, omelets, and breakfast burritos, the menu at Daily Bistro also includes lunch categories of soups, salads, sandwiches, flatbread pizzas, burgers, and wraps. You can view the menu in its entirety by going to the restaurant's website.
Along with the eats, the new beverage program includes fruit smoothies, mimosas and Bloody Mary's as well as a selection of premium wines, champagnes, beers, and spirits. Illy Café will now serve as Daily Bistro's new brand of coffee, and whole-leaf organic tea comes courtesy of Scottsdale-based White Lion Tea.
In addition to an enlarged kitchen and updated bathrooms, notable interior changes at Daily Bistro include a fresh coat of paint, and new decor elements.
