Oktoberfest 2011
Are you ready for non-stop polka, beer, dancing, and live music? Well, you're in luck. The 39th Annual Tempe Oktoberfest is happening this weekend at Tempe Town Lake. This year the giant festival has even more to offer -- 32 oz beer steins, 22 German beers, brats, a Bavarian bakery (strudel!), and even a German Shoppe where you can purchase all things Oktoberfest to take home with you. Oh, and the music line up? This year there are bands you might actually want to see. Chow Bella local favorites Black Carl, Dry River Yacht Club, and The Sugar Thieves will grace the stage this weekend. Great beer + tasty food + awesome local bands = One Super Fun Oktoberfest. Admission is free but you're going to need cash for food and drink. The festival opens today at 5 p.m. Click here for the full schedule.
