It's another busy, beautiful weekend. Spring is in the air and festival season is almost in full force. This weekend, get out of the house and enjoy what our lovely city has to offer!
Eat This: Japanese Food at the Arizona Matsuri Festival -- Three stages full of live Japanese entertainment, more than 40 merchant booths, bonsai displays, arts & crafts -- but we're going for the food. Sushi from Roka Akor and Taiko Japanese Restaurant, baked goods and steam buns from Arai Pasty and Asahi Bakery, teriyaki goodness from Blue Fin, and more will all be at the Arizona Heritage and Science Center this Saturday and Sunday during the 28th Annual Arizona Matsuri Festival from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Admission is free and the beer garden will be keeping the Asahi flowin'. Drink This: Craft Beer at the Brewing for Hope Beer Festival at Papago Brewing Co. -- Join Papago Brewing Co. and Little Guy Distributing for an afternoon of craft beers in the parking lot this Saturday from noon until 4 p.m.. All your favorite breweries (and a few new guys) will be pouring their liquid gold to celebrate the end of beer week and Little Guy's tenth birthday. Tickets are $20 at the gate. 21+. All proceeds will be donated to the M.I.S.S. Foundation.
