HOLLA! HOLLA! Glendale in the house! The second season of Top Chef Just Desserts, the competitive series on Bravo showcasing the best of the best in the world of pastry arts hosted by Gail Simmons (Call me!), announced the cast of its new season today. In the running: Glendale's own Lina Biancamano.

Currently, Biancamano resides in Fort Worth, Texas, working as an executive pastry chef at Stephan Pyles, but before that, she was growing up in Glendale, attending Deer Valley High School and, eventually, receiving her culinary education at Le Cordon Bleu in Scottsdale.

Biancamano has said she is inspired by Thomas Keller, whose food she finds beautiful, innovative and clean. And if she had to decide on her last meal, it would be a well-seasoned, grilled ribeye steak with a salad and some garlic cheddar biscuits.

Find out what guest judges Biancamano may meet, what she could win, who her competition is, when to tune into the premiere, and check out a special Top Chef Just Desserts preview after the jump.

We wish Biancamano the best of luck as she competes with 13 other chef-testants who will be competing weekly for a grand prize of $100,000, a feature in Food & Wine magazine, and a showcase at the Annual Food & Wine Cayman Cookout. And, we hope she makes it far enough to meet guest judges like, Beastie Boys' Adam "Ad Rock" Horovitz, the cast of Willy Wonka & The Chocolate Factory, Francois Payard, and Cat Cora.

Check out the bios of Biancamano's competition here.

Bravo's Top Chef Just Desserts premiers Wednesday, August 14. Check your cable guide for air times.
