Meet the Baker Behind Phoenix's Most Instagrammable Pastries

Though Olivia Girard of Le Dinersaur has been in the restaurant industry in some way or another since she was a teenager, the 28-year-old has only been teaching herself how to bake seriously over the last few years. The results of her efforts, from simple chocolate pop-overs to petit chocolate cakes garnished with crushed pistachios and filled with fig goat cheese, are some of the most photogenic and crave-worthy in the city.

The soft-serve giant is poised to open three to five new franchises here in the upcoming year, with a couple new branches already open.

It should come as no surprise that our desert city is one of the biggest growth markets for the company.

Pies, brownies, cakes, ice cream and, if that's not enough to get your blood flowing, coffee.

New Scottsdale Sweet Shop Sells Wonka-Worthy House-Made Ice Cream

Sweet Provisions occupies the space that formerly housed a TCBY. It’s not hard to imagine the sugar-coated opportunity that Chef Christopher Collins and the team at Common Ground Culinary saw when the space opened up. They jumped on the location (along with some of the equipment?) and created some incredible icy treats using fresh, local ingredients and a great font scheme.
