Is it finally fall?
It doesn't feel like it today, but this Saturday, between the forecasted mild temperatures and the start of chef Vincent Guerithault's farmers market, it most certainly will.
This is the 19th season for the Saturday market, and it's a favorite tradition among Phoenix epicureans. Set outdoors in the parking lot alongside Guerithault's fine-dining restaurant and rustic bistro (3930 E. Camelback), the market offers pristine local produce, cheeses, freshly baked bread and pastries, flowers, honey, wine, and specialty items.
And be sure to come hungry. Besides stocking your fridge and pantry, you'll be able to feast on made-to-order omelets and crepes, wood-fired pizzas, barbecued ribs, grilled chicken, and more.
The market runs from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. every Saturday through May.
