To celebrate Polynesian activities, music, and culture, the Musical Instrument Museum held the Experience Polynesia event on May 31 and June 1. The event featured traditional and modern hula dancing, face painting, and tours of the Polynesian musical instruments on display. The event was very hands-on with opportunities to play the instruments and learn how to hula dance.
