Carson Palmer knows this may be his last shot at a winner.

What an exciting 2017 it's been for Valley sports fans this year. The Arizona Diamondbacks are on a roll, and it appears they are heading for the playoffs, and the Arizona Cardinals begin their season this week. If we've learned anything in recent history in this town, it's that the lower the expectations of our beloved teams, the better they do. Last year, many predicted the Cardinals would be a legitimate Super Bowl contender, only to watch the team miss the playoffs. The window for this squad is closing as aging veterans like Carson Palmer and Larry Fitzgerald are likely to call it quits after this year.
