Sriracha enthusiasts were a little underwhelmed on Saturday as they entered the spicy festival at Heritage Square. There were more non-food related activities for attendees than most had expected. Sure, there were some food trucks, tasty vendors serving anything that seemed like it would pair well with many different types of Sriracha, but even more eye-opening was the small turnout. Vendors are nothing new at Valley festivals, but it seemed like there were more businesses grabbing people's attention for anything but the spicy sauce they craved.
