The heroic and villainous superstars of World Wrestling Entertainment came to the US Airways Center in downtown Phoenix on Sunday, January 27, to lay the smackdown and do some major damage during the WWE’s Royal Rumble pay-per-view. More than 16,000 fans cheered from their seats as The Rock returned to the ring to defeat CM Punk for the WWE championship while John Cena won the 30-man rumble.
