The song, titled "We Do This Together," is played often during halftime at the University of Phoenix Stadium. The video can be seen at mystudio.net. • Arizona Cardinals Head for the Playoffs on a High Note With a Big Win Over Lowly Seattle

Finally, we get to report good news about the Arizona Cardinals, who finished the regular season 9-7 -- just as we predicted they would when we named Ken Whisenhunt top head coach in the PHX in our 2008 Best Of edition. Our prediction was based on the Cardinals going 8-8 last season behind injured-for-half-the-year Kurt Warner. Finishing .500 was a miracle. In the Cardinals' 34-21 home win over the 4-11 Seattle Seahawks on Sunday afternoon, a healthy Warner threw f

  • Luck of the Draw: Arizona Cardinals vs. Atlanta Falcons in NFC First-Round Playoff on Saturday

"Charmed" seems an odd descriptor for the 2008-09 Arizona Cardinals, who lost -- no, were crushed in -- four of their last six regular-season games. Yet here they sit, all warm and snuggly at 9-7, hosting a first-round playoff game at home in the Red Zone. Meanwhile, a couple of teams they lost to by a combined score of 61 points -- the New York Jets and New England Patriots -- sit idly at home. The Patriots finished 11-5, and are only the second team in NFL history to finish with that record

  • Larry Fitzgerald's Alleged Domestic Abuse Buried Deep in Pages of Arizona Republic

The New Year's Eve news exclusive from sleazy entertainment Web site TMZ.com about Arizona Cardinals player Larry Fitzgerald alleged domestic abuse incident was the "kind of momentary headline that can damage a good name," writes Arizona Republic sports columnist Dan Bickley in a Sunday article about Fitz's "meteoric rise." Funny thing is, the incident never rated a headline -- or any other kind of mention -- in the state's supposed paper of record. Now, Barkley's reported rush for oral

  • Arizona Cardinals Go Cosmic Against Atlanta Falcons in Historic Playoff Win

The game was clinched on a third-and-16, 23-yard pass from Captain Kurt to Mr. Spach. It was logical. Most teams would've kept it on the ground and probably had to punt, giving their opponent another chance to score and win the game. But most teams don't have Arizona's passing attack. So  Cardinals offensive coordinator Todd "Comet" Haley and quarterback Kurt Warner went at clutch-time with what had gotten them there -- Warner's arm. Only, this time, he lasered it over the middle

Carolina Panthers RB DeAngelo Williams The Arizona Cardinals are 0-5 this season in the Eastern Time zone, and some of the defeats went like this: 56-36 at the New York Jets, 48-20 at the Philadelphia Eagles, and 27-23 at the Carolina Panthers on October 26. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Whatever. Let's talk about the good stuff. Namely, how about that 98.5 rushing yards per game in the last two contests, including Edgerrin James' game-high 73 in last Saturday's epic 30-24 playoff victory against the Atla
