DUI task forces around the state arrested 544 people on DUI charges over Labor Day weekend. That's an increase over the same weekend in 2013, when the task forces arrested 503 people on DUI charges.
From Friday through St. Patrick's Day yesterday, DUI task forces around the state made 413 DUI arrests.Although you might expect most of the arrests to have come yesterday, a majority of those arrests (233) were actually made on Friday and Saturday.
