Local pretty boy rockers Anarbor will be hitting the road with Cute is What We Aim For for the Take Action! Tour starting Feb 11.The tour is put together by Anarbor's emo-pop-rock label, Hopeless Records, through their non profit organization, Sub City, and also features Meg & Dia, Breathe Carolina, Every Avenue. It's the eighth year, for the tour, which donates money to youth-oriented charities.Jimmy Eat World, Coheed and Cambria, Le Tigre and The Promise Ring played the first tour in 2002,
Austin City Limits: recycling this year's festival headliners so you don't have to The lineup for the 2009 Austin City Limits Music Festival has been announced and it is teeming with top-notch talent. The Beastie Boys, Pearl Jam and Dave Matthews Band round out the top slots of Outside Lands Lollapalooza this year's edition of the ACL, adding Kings of Leon, Theivery Corporation and Ben Harper to the big name mix.
