  • Joanna Pacitti Finally Out on 'Idol'

Yer fired!!So, since Joanna Pacitti's American Idol audition back in Louisville, I haven't made any secretabout the fact that her ass should've been sent packing long ago, especially after she forgot the words to her song during Hollywood Week. In my opinion, Pacitti has used up all of her singing lifelines -- as a kid, she starred as Annie on Broadway, she has already had a recording contract and one of her songs was covered by Britney Spears. But apparently that wasn't enough to keep her from

  • American Idol Not All Live

Oh, the controversy! The New York Times is reporting that this season American Idol is using pre-recorded tracts. The show claims that the contestants do not "lip-sync" because they are really singing live, they just happen to be singing over a track of their own voices. This is a Clinton "depends what 'is' means" type moment if there ever was one. They are taking a strong definition of what "lip-sync" means and a very very lose meaning of what "live" means. The article quotes Justin Guarini num

  • Bret Michaels Fractures Nose, Almost Loses Head at Tony Awards

The members of Poison are now officially old men. 1983 was a long time ago.Sometimes Monday morning just brings you a gleaming, radiant little bit of news that helps the transition into next week all the more smooth and less awkward. It's no big surprise that I am a gigantic fan of former hair metal frontman/reality TV superstar Bret Michaels. I have watched every minute of every season of VH1's Rock of Love, enjoying myself immensely along the way. When the Tony Awards asked Michaels to play hi
