As you might have picked up from my column last week, I think Wavves is one of the most interesting bands out at the moment. So I was pretty excited to read they've got a new song out, even if:a) They're still canceling shows due to Nathan Williams broken wrist.b) The song in question is called "Mickey Mouse," which means it'll likely never make it on to a record, unless the name changes or Fat Possum's legal department gets bored enough to tangle with Disney. Ah yes, the ever popular x-ray of Nathan Williams' broken wrist.Nathan Williams, the creative force behind Wavves, has been having an interesting last few months. "Oh yeah," Nathan Williams of Wavves leered as I introduced myself last night at The Rhythm Room. "You're the guy who wrote the article with the 'Wavves spits on a guy' headline." That wasn't the headline, exactly, but the article he was referring to clearly set the stage for an interesting gig. After all, the last time he was in Phoenix, he spit in a concert-goer's face, puked outside of Trunk Space and played "the worst set ever." "I really hope some body spits in my mouth
