While he doesn't dress in monk-like robes (like Qui-Gon Jinn) or offer advice in backwards fashion (à la Yoda), Rob Wegner is most definitely served as a Jedi Master to DJs across the PHX for most of the last decade. He's taught many a Padawan how to spin up a song in that time, including MCB and J. Alan over at Axis/Radius, Dirty Pretty's Jon Amaral, and Adrian Diaz at Sandbar).

Phish takes the stage playing "Party Time" in Indio, California for their Live 8 Festival. The reunited Vermont jam band is combining two of their biggest traditions, a massive festival and a Halloween concert that features the band playing another artist's album in its entirety. What does all this mean? Lots and lots of hippies sleeping in tents on the lush grass of Empire Polo Club.
