  • Is This Jay-Z and Radiohead Mash-Up Really Necessary?

Brand new to the internet this week is the latest effort from DJ Minty Fresh Beats, otherwise known as 22-year old New Yorker Max Tannone. Tannone has harnessed the eternal power of Jay-Z's The Black Album for his own evil-doing, choosing Radiohead as his partner in crime in creating this week's mash-up sensation Jaydiohead. • NIN Prove Radiohead was Right: FREE SELLS

Amazon just announced their list of the Bestselling Albums of 2008 on their MP3 digital service. At first glance you might not think much of the list: Coldplay, Death Cab For Cutie, 3 Doors Down, Beck, and Radiohead are all near the top of the list. The word back from Radiohead's people was 'We don't really do that.' We all know that Radiohead were the only thing worth watching at the Gr

  • Neil Finn, family and friends make melodious music for poverty relief on 7 Worlds Collide

Frenz.comSinger/songwriter Neil Finn gathered family and friends in his native New Zealand to create and record a double album in three weeks. A sage singer/songwriter named Willie Nelson once extolled the joys of "making music with my friends" and a younger, but perhaps no less sage, singer/songwriter named Neil Finn obviously got the message. But instead of heading out "on the road again," New Zealander and Crowded House frontman Finn invited many of his musical friends and their fa
