Acclaimed pastry chef Tracy Dempsey has just signed on as "guest chef" at Udder Delights, a gourmet ice cream shop in Gilbert (1385 E. Warner Rd., 480-507-3859), in honor of National Ice Cream Month. Owners Sherene Robinson and Casey Stechnij enlisted Dempsey to create new ice cream flavors and overhaul the dessert menu.

​Yesterday I stopped by Lisa G for lunch and got a taste of some delicious ice cream made just a few doors down on 7th Street. Salted caramel with almonds, fresh mint with chocolate, and chocolate with cocoa nibs . . . all delish.
