  • Weezer Releases Holiday Songs

Today Weezer digitally released six Christmas songs originally recorded for the recently released iPhone app "Tap Tap Revenge Christmas With Weezer.""For the first time ever a band recorded music for an app but demand was so great from non-iPhone users that the band decided to make the songs available at places like iTunes and Amazon.com. This also marks the first time Apple released App music on iTunes. The songs on the EP are: "We Wish You A Merry Christmas", "Silent Night", "O Holy Night", "T

  • Miniature Tigers Yucca Gig a Nice Send-Off for Big Tour

With their star swiftly rising thanks to a slate of dates opening for Ben Folds and a showcase at SxSW, a lot of us showing up at Miniature Tigers' show at Yucca Tap Room last night kind of thought this could be one the last times we'd see the band for free. If that's the case, we got a great show to remember the era by.The Yucca was, for a Wednesday night, exceptionally full for the show, which also featured Mia Riddle, Milo the Mayor and Art for Starters. Not only were there people aplenty, th

  • Kenny G and Weezer Collaborate, Plan to Conquer Earth

Kenny G joined forces with seminal 90's rock band Weezer to create a truly...interesting take on the band's new song "I'm Your Daddy." Are you like me? Did you wake up today and think to yourself, "You know what Weezer needs? More clarinet." Well get ready to get your mind blown and your pants rocked off. Kenny G, everyone's favorite musician to rag on, teamed up with Weezer to produce a unique take on the track "I'm Your Daddy," from the band's newest album Raditude. Bask in the glorious, re

  • Weezer Coming To Dodge Theatre on January 15

Weezer will play Dodge Theatre on January 15. Touring on perhaps their worst reviewed record ever ( a record, admittedly, I have not bothered to actually listen to yet) Rivers Cuomo and Co. seem to be getting more ink for Snuggie-style publicity stunts, like playing with Kenny G, than playing solid rock and/or roll anymore, which is not how publicists are spinning it. With its rollicking communal spirit Raditude upends any expectations audiences may have of Weezer, amplifying their trademark
