18: #1 Super Everything from Khai Hoan
Pho is one of those dishes that warms our bones to the marrow, probably because it also contains a good amount of marrow bones that make it fragrant and luscious. When we get a craving for the tasty broth-based treat, Khai Hoan is our go to pho destination. When we're feeling indecisive, we snag a bowl of Super Everything Pho that has all the authentic cuts of meat (mmm, tendon and tripe!) we can't get just anywhere.
The #1 Super Everything Pho from Khai Hoan is loaded with rice noodles, lean beef, fatty flank steak (with a line of flavorful fat down one side like bacon), ribbons of tripe, mystery meat balls, and the infamous beef tendon. To complement this crazy meat combo, thai basil, mint, cilantro, spring onions, bean sprouts, lime and jalapenos are served on the side. (To say nothing of the sauces you can add.) Toss in a bit of everything for good measure. It's called the Super Everything for a reason.
