We are all about that pie here at Chow Bella. With our annual Pie Social just around the corner we've definitely got pie on the mind. But don't worry, the pie love doesn't have to stop after the event this Saturday. Plenty of local restaurants, bakeries, and chefs will have pies available for pre-order throughout the holidays.
Whether you're looking for a classic Dutch Apple Pie or a vegan dessert to grace your holiday table, here are 10 places to order your holiday pies around town.
Super Chunk Sweet and Treats
Good news: Country Velador of Super Chunk Sweets and Treats is bringing back her 2013 Pie Social Best in Show winner, the Nanaimo Peanut Butter Pie. She'll be offering the coconut/peanut butter/chocolate creation, in addition to Pumpkin Pie, Pumpkin Cheesecake Pie, Dutch Apple Pie, Coffee Banoffee with Extra Toffee Pie, and Pecan Pie for pre-order during the month of November. Each pie costs $24 and the pre-order deadline is Sunday, November 23. Pie pickup will take place Tuesday, November 25 and Wednesday, November 26 between noon and 6 p.m. Payment in full in advance is required; you can place your order by calling 602-736-2383.

Pistol Whipped Pastry
Pastry chef (and Chow Bella contributor) Rachel Miller of Pistol Whipped Pastry is offering five flavors of holiday pies: Apple Caramel Pie with Rye Crust, Mincemeat Pie with Standard Crust, Bourbon Pumpkin Pie with Standard Crust, Pecan Pie with Standard Crust, and Pistol Whipped Pastry Signature S'mores Pie. All pies cost $30 and are approximately 10 inches (serves 8-10 people). Pies can be ordered online and picked up at one of five Valley locations including Wedge & Bottle in Chandler, The Heard Museum in Phoenix, Crepe Bar in Tempe, JAM Artisan Boutique in Scottsdale, and Bergies Coffee in Gilbert.

Liberty Market pastry chef LaDawn Driscoll has four flavors of pie on tap for this Thanksgiving including Pumpkin Pecan, Whiskey Brownie, Coconut Cream, and Lemon Meringue. Each pie will cost $35 and must be pre-ordered before Monday, November 24. Orders will be ready for pick up by Wednesday afternoon. Cranberry sauce macarons are also available by the half dozen in gift boxes for $18.

Mamme Toledo's has eight types of fruit and cream pies available to order for Thanksgiving this year. In addition to classics such as Pumpkin and Pecan, she's making Sweet Potato Pecan, All American Apple, French Silk, Banana Creame, Coconut Creame, and Orange Ginger Creame. Fruit pies cost $19 and cream pies cost $21. Orders must be placed by Thursday, November 20 either by calling 602-332-7346 or emailing firstname.lastname@example.org.

Grassroots Kitchen and Tap
This fall both the Phoenix and Scottsdale locations of Grassroots Kitchen and Tap launched a new whole to-go pie program. The restaurants are now offering Grassroots' signature Key Lime Pie (available daily) and an ever-changing selection of pies. Pies cost $20 and special requests can be placed 48-hours in advance.

Bragg's Factory Diner
Bragg's Factory Diner has you and your vegan guests totally covered with several pie flavors to choose from this year. Your options include Apple Pie, Apple-Rosemary Pie, Cranberry-Apple Pie, Pecan Pie, and Pumpkin Pie, which cost $20. All pies vegan and can be made gluten-free by request. Orders for Thanksgiving should be placed by Sunday, November 23 and can be picked up any time before Thanksgiving or between 9 and 11 a.m. on Thanksgiving Day. The Market by Jennifer's
This holiday season The Market by Jennifer's is bringing pies from the famous Rock Springs Café in Black Canyon City to customers in the Valley. Pie flavors including Jack Daniels Pecan, Pumpkin, and Mixed Berry Crumb are available, as well as a varied assortment of cream and fruit pies. Cream pies cost $23.50 while fruit pies cost $20. Pies must be ordered at least two days in advance and are available for pre-order now through December 23. Pick-up times are from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. Tuesday through Saturday and from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Sundays. Must pay for pie at time of purchase and/or at time of pre-order.

In addition to offering a complete Thanksgiving meal, Arcadia Farms in Scottsdale is baking Lemon Chess, Harvest Pumpkin, Old Fashioned Apple Crumb, Southern Pecan, and Chocolate Pecan pies for Thanksgiving this year. Pies will serve between six and eight people and cost $25 each. Orders must be placed and pre-paid no later than 1 p.m. on Monday, November 24. Pick-up is available between 3 and 6 p.m. on Wednesday, November 26 and 9 a.m. and noon on Thanksgiving Day. Order forms are available online.

This Thanksgiving the Phoenix Public Market Cafe is serving up Spiced Pumpkin Pie with vanilla bean whippped cream and candied pumpkin seeds and Apple Crumb Pie with Granny Smith apples and crumble topping. Both cost $17 and must be ordered before 8 p.m. on Tuesday, November 25. Payment is required in advance. Pies can be picked up after 9 a.m. on Wednesday, November 26.
